Awana Children’s Ministry

Awana at Eagles Baptist Church is a fun, Christ-centered ministry designed to help children know, love, and follow Jesus. Awana stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed and is based on 2 Timothy 2:15. Through Bible memorization, engaging lessons, games, and activities, children build a strong foundation of faith while learning God’s Word in an exciting and encouraging environment.

Our goal is to partner with families in raising children who understand the Gospel, develop a personal relationship with Christ, and grow in their walk with Him. Every Awana club meeting is designed to help children hide God’s Word in their hearts and apply biblical truths to their daily lives.

What We Do

  • Teach children the truth of God’s Word.
  • Encourage Scripture memorization and Bible learning.
  • Provide a safe, fun, and welcoming environment.
  • Help children develop friendships and Christian character.
  • Support parents as they disciple their children at home.
  • Create opportunities for children to serve and share God’s love with others.

Awana helps children discover that God’s Word is true, relevant, and life-changing. Through consistent Bible teaching and caring leaders, children are encouraged to grow spiritually and become lifelong followers of Jesus Christ.
